The technique used for most of these paintings is to combine acrylic water based and metallic paints with silicon oil and a flow effects medium which are then poured onto the canvas and allowed to run into each other. Heat from a blowtorch (don't try this at home kids) is then applied to dry the paints quickly before they mix completely, sometimes having the effect of thicker paint a cracked and wrinkling  texture. Finally two or three coats of varnish. Thanks to the paint being allowed to run onto the sides of the canvas it can be hung unframed.
